The Book Club reads contemporary French literature with discussions held on Mondays once each month during the academic year with moderators from the Columbia French Department and occasionally the authors themselves. Daniele Lasser has been the coordinator of the Book Club for ten years. Texts are read in French and the use of French is encouraged during the discussions. Open to Columbia University students and faculty with a valid and current CUID, and to members of the Maison Française Société des Amis de la Maison Française. Members make a minimum contribution of $50 or more per year to support the Maison Française.
